La Skala - Apartment with great sea view

The Apartment is exactly like the pictures, with a magnificent sea views and close to the Medina. It is very comfortable and has all the amenities required. The central location allowed us to pop back any time we needed to. The area is safe and locals were very helpful.

We were a family of 5 and the apartment was not fully ready for us. We were one bath towel short and it took over 5 hours for the host to provide an extra towel and that was only because I actually went to Riad owned by the host to collect it - allegedly there was an issue with the washing machine, but i'd expect there to be and additional towels ready anyway! After 15 hours of travelling everyone wanted to shower and freshen up and sadly were were not able to. Also the second bedroom's shower room does not have a door which means everyone has to vacate the bedroom so that the shower can be used. Whilst the towel issue may seem minor, it really did inconvenience us greatly which is a real shame as otherwise the apartment is fantastic. Communication with the host was hit and miss - maybe lost in translation (english to french).

View of the window from living room and bedrooms, good WiFi, location, beds were comfortable

Bathrooms needs to be renovated. Windows weren’t closing completely. Check in was delayed. It was super nice that they prepared surprise breakfast (for free) for us but they told us about it while check out (after we ate breakfast outside). I would advise the host about such a surprise a day before.

The views were spectacular and the common areas were spacious and well appointed. Also, the manager who we were told to contact for our needs was super helpful and very responsive.

The only small thing that was annoying was that the window curtains are sheer and there is an outside light on the property next door that shines brightly through one of the bedroom windows at night. We put an extra sheet over the curtain rod to shield some of it and that worked okay.

This place is very upscale. It has best ocean view, very clean and spacious. Totally enjoyed our stay here.

A clean and spacious place to unwind, with the most spectacular view of the ocean, fort and fishermen. It was the perfect location for me to work on my laptop, watching the ocean scene all day. Good light and views. The sunsets were amazing. A quiet little oasis with the Medina right outside.
