It had a kitchen that would be useful for the right group. Being an apartment style with a separate lounge room, kitchen, and laundry made it for what it was. It was warm & cosy. Bus stop across the road. Great if you have a car. Good internet.

The bed was rock hard, and quite uncomfortable. The shower has weird shelves in it so when you're standing front on to the shower head, your elbows touch the curtain & shelving (wall) at the same time (im only 5.9ft & 150lbs). The neighbours above, when walking around/being loving to each other, sounds like they're coming thru the ceiling. I blocked the toilet on the first day. They have many signs warning of this.....still, obviously something that happens regularly. Their "unblocker" arrived within hours and sorted it. At best, 20min walk from cafe /restaurants. Saying all this, it was value for money for the right group.

We had an amazing stay at this Airbnb! The place was very clean, cozy, and exactly as described. Everything was well thought out, and we had all the essentials we needed for a comfortable stay. The location was great and very convenient. The host was responsive, friendly, and made the check-in process super easy. We truly enjoyed our time here and would definitely stay again. Highly recommend!

"A cozy rental in Fairbanks with charm and comfort, but a few tweaks are needed ..."

9.0

My experience at this Executive Work Space with Modern Charm in Fairbanks was largely enjoyable. This private rental felt like a cozy home away from home, perfect for one or two guests. The full kitchen allowed for easy meal preparation, and the shower was excellent - just what I needed after a day of exploring. The location was ideal, offering easy access to delightful dining options and various conveniences. It’s also a fantastic base for nighttime adventures, especially for capturing the stunning Aurora Borealis. In the summer, the place is perfectly situated for enjoying the Golden Days, the Midnight Sun activities, and even attending the Midnight Sun Gold Panners game - an easy walk away. One of the standout features was the bed, which provided one of the best nights’ sleep I’ve ever experienced, surpassing even my luxury mattress at home. Returning to Fairbanks and staying in such comfort made my visit truly memorable. The "rule book" was a nice touch, as it included helpful information about the area along with some guidelines. It contained useful recommendations for local attractions, emergency contacts, and bus routes, which I found quite beneficial during my stay.

While I appreciated the effort of the property owner in maintaining their space, I did have some concerns. The temperature limit rule felt a bit restrictive, especially with Fairbanks' frigid winters. A little flexibility in temperature control would make a significant difference for guests looking to feel at ease in their environment. I also encountered a few minor inconveniences. The bathroom was somewhat small, and there was a leak from the upstairs tenant that caused yellowish water to drip into the space. The microwave was out of order, so reheating food was only possible on the stove. Fortunately, the full stove and oven helped minimize the impact of this issue. The cold-weather car plug-in cord ran awkwardly across the entrance steps. I would recommend routing the cord safely around the door and providing a hook for guests to hang it, rather than coiling it around the mailboxes, to ensure safety during icy conditions. Lastly, the entrance into the apartment has a small doorway between the walkway and the driveway. For a tall person, it is just too easy to absentmindedly hit ones head on the door jam; which I did, causing a notable laceration and bleeding. While enlarging the doorway is necessary, the expense is understandably high for the property owner - but they could at least add padding so one doesn't end up with an injury just to get in or out.

Great kitchen had everything I was looking for, appreciated the ability to make a pot of coffee or just a cup of coffee. I really like the fridge I need to buy one for my home like that. Super comfortable bed and loved having a washer and dryer. I love the super soft and comfy blankets they were very nice to cuddle up on the couch with.

I can't think of anything I didn't like.

"Very good apartment to stay in with convenient location to the sights in Fairbanks"

9.0

Modern fitout inside with modern appliances. Enough room for us as a couple. Felt new inside, and comfortable.

No electric kettle to boil water for tea. General lighting in the lounge area could be better. Required to strip the bed of sheets. First time been asked to strip a bed in 45 years of travelling the world visiting over 80 countries and all 7 continents.
