Rosebank Cottage

We were going to a wedding at Wennington Hall and this cottage was perfect. A few other guests turned out to be staying in High Bentham too. If you are going to Wennington Hall and will require a taxi, book this some time in advance as it was difficult to find someone available. We liked the furnishings in the cottage. It was simple, practical and comfortable. My husband and I were with my mum and there was plenty of space. It is a well laid out cottage in a small footprint. The cottage is in the middle of an interesting and vibrant village. Apart from one issue, it was clean and tidy.

My mum wanted me to comment that as a short, older woman with a bad back, having the plug socket in the twin singles room either behind a bed she couldn't move or at ceiling hight was unhelpful. There was only one tea towel. Happily mum bought a spare. We found discarded plastic wrapping behind the armchair and under a bed.

Maison indépendante très bien équipée dans toutes les pièces. Parking pour la voiture devant la maison dans une cour isolée de la rue. Village de Bentham calme, équipé en commerces. À proximité par la route de Manchester, de Liverpool, de la station de Blackpool (plages, fameux parc d'attractions), du "Pennine way", des randonnées pédestres en montagne du Lake District. Une ligne de trains passe à Bentham; si les trains roulent normalement, la gare est bien desservie.

Lovely cottage with plenty of room for a family of 4. Lots of extras like dvds, jigsaws, clothes dryer as well as an additional toilet downstairs! We had a great time, was lovely and clean when we arrived. Lovely little village with some trail walks around and close to the train station too.

Everything was great!

Lovely comfy cottage with everything you need for a comfy stay. Very central to Lancaster, the dales and the lakes. We enjoyed our time.

suited us down to the ground. All we required was at hand. No problem with shower / beds / kitchen etc. Great to get to M6 - (25 minutes), A65 (15 minutes) etc. Used the Rail station several times - 10 minute walk. Butcher and absolutely grand baker just round corner - several shops - and the 2 pubs were fine.
