Hikka Lagoon

Die Unterkunft liegt traumhaft direkt an der Lagune, man kann dort morgens eine Kanutour genießen und anschließend das Frühstück, mit grandioser Aussicht, auf der Terrasse einnehmen. Schlafzimmer, Küche und Bad sind groß und geräumig, wir haben sehr gut geschlafen. Zum Abendessen gab es Reis und Fisch direkt vom Gastgeber, danke dafür. Der freundliche Vermieter hat uns am Folgetag zur Schildkrötenstation begleitet, viele Tipps gegeben und einen tollen Badestrand empfohlen, wo wir trotz großer Wellen, aufgrund eines natürlichen Pools, sicher schwimmen konnten.

Ein Hinweisschild am Weg hätte uns die Anreise erleichtert, wir wollten bereits wieder umdrehen, als der Vermieter das Tor öffnete :-)

Very comfortable and clean room in a beautiful location. The owner was very friendly and helpful and arranged for a boat ride on the lagoon.

It would have been nice if there was more comfortable seating to lounge/enjoy the view.

Жильё находиться в деревне ,на окраине Хиккадувы, очень живописное место, прям на берегу лагуны , один только вид стоит 1 000 000$ Очень тихий район.Есть всё необходимое,есть даже кухня с холодильником,мы жили ещё в четырёх местах и негде не было даже мини бара,тут есть все удобства ,хороший сытный завтрак ,с хорошим кофе и фруктами.

Плесень на кухне надо убрать

Excellente localisation a proximité de Galle devant un lac dans un endroit très calme. Les deux logements disponibles sont confortables. Petit déjeuner intéressant avec des possibilités de choix grâce à la disponibilité du propriétaire, personne très agérable. Des informations intéressantes sont communiquées par lui sur les meilleurs visites possibles de la région. Une excellente option pour de telles visites, y compris bien sûr pour le bord de mer.

La porte de la salle d'eau du studio est trop basse et encore très bruyante, ce qui peut être réparé.

This was a hidden gem. A really wonderful place with great service from the owner. A place where you can chill right next to the lagoon with a beautiful view

The location was really nice with a spectacular view of the lagoon. Good spot to relax. The rooms were comfortable and the hosts were friendly. Breakfast was also nice

The rooms were a bit hot during the day but can manage with the AC.

Really loved the stay. The property is run by the mayor of town. He was extremely courteous and friendly. Would highly recommend kayaking in the lagoon✨

We had a wonderful stay at Hikka Lagoon. The room is lovely and the view is peaceful and beautiful. Even though there were some mosquitoes in the evening, you had the same lovely view sitting inside and looking out through the large glass windows. Our hosts - the mayor of Hikkaduwa and his lovely wife Theekshana, made our stay even more special. We were taken sightseeing and had a tasty dinner made for us on one night.

Unfortunately the wifi wasn't working when we were there but that didn't matter to us. There are also some steep stairs down to the room.
