Quiet location, parking and walkable to town. Excellent communication with owners. Had everything we needed for our brief stay.

Good location with easy pedestrian access at the bottom of the brae, across railway line and into the town centre.

A few things disappointed us about this property. The main things were: a strong musty smell that clung to clothes, hair and all our luggage. Use of airfreshner on top of the damp smell was not pleasant. There's a mix of electric heaters and central heating radiators, the owner controls the central heating. For us this meant the living room was always too cold to be comfortable when we wanted to use it. The electric heater was very noisy so we didn't use this room. The floor level varies throughout, so there's one or more steps to navigate going from room to room. Acoustics are poor between the accommodation and the main house upstairs.

Wayne was very helpful. He even asked if I needed any shopping when he went to the local co-op. The accommodation and facilities were very good. Even things like security lights were provided for night time trips to the bathroom. Location was excellent as it was great to leave a busy town centre and return to the peace of aftonbank. Undercover parking next to the entrance was a big plus. I would certainly use aftonbank again.

Lovely cosy apartment that was so close to the centre of Pitlochry. The bed was so comfortable!

As the apartment formed part of the main home, there was times where we heard the owners, simple things just like floorboards creaking. Due to being a light sleeper, this caused a disturbed first night sleep.

Location, not too far from town, with beautiful walks nearby. The house was very clean, with everything we required.

we loved everything about this place so clean comfortable and well equipped for all your needs also very welcoming hosts who bought us a lovely card and prosecco for our anniversary such a lovely touch. also the location was so serene and wonderful views.
