Heritage Caeli

Duży, przestronny apartament, po remoncie. Piękny widok z okien na turkusowy ocean. Tuż przy pięknych plażach, z lewej strony Praia da Rocha z ratownikami więc bezpieczne kąpiele, z prawej Praia Dos Tres Castelos z uroczymi klifami więc świetna do urokliwych, długich spacerów. p.Danuta BARDZO MIŁA, z pozytywną energią. Pierwszego dnia poprosilismy o wymianę pościeli na antyalergiczną, i otrzymaliśmy ją w ciągu 2h, za co jesteśmy bardzo wdzięczni:)

Near the beach

Our stay was unfortunately not a good experience. Communication with the owner was difficult from the beginning. Both check-in and check-out were inconvenient and not well organized. We were also asked to provide a $200 cash deposit directly to the owner, which felt unprofessional. Basic amenities were missing — there was no kettle in the apartment to boil water. When we needed the heater, it took the host a long time to figure out how to turn it on. The WiFi stopped working on the third day, and the host did not know how to resolve the issue. The apartment itself is quite outdated. The power were totally off in the first night when we try to use her air flyer. The furniture and electrical equipment, including the router, appear old and poorly maintained. The blankets and sofa had an unpleasant smell, which made the stay uncomfortable. Due to these issues, we had to check out early, but no refund or partial compensation was offered. Overall, the lack of maintenance, missing essentials, and poor communication made this a disappointing stay.

Lovely, well-designed apartment with a great aspect. Well equipped for a week-long stay. Spacious bathroom and living area; inviting balcony. TV with good English-language options. Quiet location—slept perfectly. Central and close to spectacular beaches. Helpful and responsive host.

Some of the kitchen and cooking equipment could be better quality.

La casa è in ottimo stato, appena ristrutturata, pulita e dotata di ogni confort..

The apartment was spotlessly clean and well presented. Danuta had thought of everything and anything you could ever need. There was even onsite parking too which we used as we had booked a hire car. We were offered the option of having the room serviced during our stay, but we declined, but found the vacuum cleaner which helped to keep sandy toes from messing up the place. The views from the balcony across Praia da Rocha, harbour and sea was a delight and especially for evening drinks before going out for your evening meal. The golden beach and clear blue sea was a matter of minutes away with the choice of either booking a lounger and parasol or use the provided beach towels and laying on the sands. A visit to Portimão Old Town is nice with plenty of charm, beautiful tiled buildings and cafes to while away an hour or two, then off to the harbour and surprisingly a 'double decker' carousel on the harbours edge. Heritage Caeli is situated at the quieter end of the strip, the apartment provided easy access to nearby bars and restaurants, too many to recommend, but we tried a different one every day, with livelier options a short walk away. We hope to make it back in the near future.
