Amazing property, spacious, great location, beautifully decorated, super king size bed, everything you could need for a comfortable stay.

The location was perfect, for beach and shopping.

It’s spacious with lovely comfortable big beds, nice decor, two bathrooms and ample parking. It’s a great location, 5 minutes walk to the beach, nearly next door to Sainsbury’s and other local shops close by. We stayed for 2 nights to break up a long journey and spent a day at Culzean Castle which is 30 minutes away. The Wi-Fi is reliable and the property was warm enough for us not to need the heating even at the end of October. Some people have mentioned road noise but we didn’t notice this at all.

On first appearances it’s presented very well but on closer inspection you can see it’s a little tired, bits of skirting board missing, boarded up behind the bathroom radiator, kitchen cabinets are out of alignment, the bath taps are the wrong way round so I left them running and came back to a cold bath etc. I notice lots of comments about the property being really clean but this wasn’t our experience, maybe there’s been a change in cleaning arrangements? The splash back behind the hob is sticky and greasy and when I looked under the sofa and coffee table to check if we’d left anything behind, I found bottle tops and nuts that were not from our stay. The paperwork in the welcome folder needs to be updated as the gas safety check and electrical inspection are both out of date.
