Kaira Apartments

The apartament is comfortable and cozy.

Even if the apartement is really nice, the communication with the staff was not good at all. It was terrible, we felt like they do not want us there Right after the booking I received a message in finish with the information about the check-in. It was said that the key should be picked-up at a certain address where their office is between 15-17 (after 17 the office is closed and we would receive the code for the keybox on the day of our arrival). One day before the arrival, I asked when can we do the check-in and no answer was received. However, on the day of our arrival we went to their office to get the key after 15 - there were minus 8 degrees and we were carrying heavy luggage. We arrived at the address just to see an empty office space in the building! They had moved some time ago - even so, the gave us the wrong info!!! I called multiple times and no one answered and at some point my calls were declined! Luckly, I went to the salon which is in the same building and asked if they know something about them. The lady there was very kind and provided the new address where they moved. It was approx. 1 km on the other side of the town!! We went there with all the luggage in the freezing day, with no assurance that we will find them there and with no information about the code for the keybox or anything else! While we were on our way there they eventually wrote me the new address (which was the same as we had already from the lady from the salon) and the code for the keybox. At the end we got the key and we got to the apartment, but they did not even apologize for the situation! Besides that, they *demanded* to take the garbage out w/o telling us where the trash bin is... It is a pity that such a nice place is managed by these kind of people.

Bed should be with proper double bed mattress.

A small apartment für two people near the centre. Comfortable beds, a nice balcony and the sauna was absolutely brilliant!

It was supposed to be a double sized bed, it was 2 single beds studio. The pans were ruined To check-in is a nightmare. At first you have to walk to this rental agency place, just to find out that you can check-in after 1600. Luckily there was a library nearby and I did manage to kill 4.5 hours... Then you have to walk all the way to the apartment, 1km away from the agency. What about putting a keybox nearby the apartment instead of having this snakes and ladders? I'm still waiting for the check-in instructions vie email. After getting to the apartment, I started trying all the doors with my key in the building as I was not told the apartment number. Luckily at some point they answered my message, it's the A1 I would have liked a carpet for the bathroom floor. I used a towel instead Lots of drawers, instead we had cleaning products hanging around everywhere Unpractical soup dispenser with no soap nearby the sink

Good location, clean & nice appartment.

the apartment is great! very comfortable and well heated! it has its own sauna (quite useful after a day out)! it is 2 minutes walking distance from korundi (great collection of Finnish art and also great coffee place) and around 10 minutes from the center (easily walkable) You get the key around 700 m away from the apartment but that wasn’t an issue (you leave it in the apartment for check out) we really enjoyed our stay!!
