The apartment is in the heart of Rovaniemi, in a high standard apartment house, located on the 1st floor (European ground floor), just a few blocks away from city main streets; still the area is calm and cozy, not far from the Rovaniemi city library. It is a medium-size apartment of one bigger living room with a kitchen annex and a smaller bedroom with a double-deck bed. If you add an expandable sofa in the living room, the apartment can easily host 3 or even 4 guests. The place has all possible appliances you can think of, including a huge fridge with freezer, coffee machine, microwave oven and a dishwasher, not to mention some minor, but useul utilities, like plates, glasses and silver in the kitchen (I was particularly glad to find two pairs of scissors), as well as tee, sugar or cleaning liquids provided. Cleanliness was all around and and was visible at every spot. The bathroom, extremely clean, too, had a shower, a washing machine and floor heating. Most useful to me was a writing desk and strong wi-fi. There was also a balcony, but due to the season (January) I did not use it. The rooms provided thermal comfort of +22-23 Celsius degrees, which was important when the temperature outside was down to -25 degrees. The lady host (whom I met only on the phone) was really heplful, with excellent English.

Everything was very well equipped – the water heater, washing machine, kitchen utensils, everything you need. The location was excellent, and the property was very clean.
