Excellent location, wonderful host, and lots of nice little touches.

We loved the grounds, the view and the overall country feel to the property Maggie was extremely helpful, accommodating and welcoming. Welcome pack was a very nice touch after a day of travelling

Purely for the benefit of being able to travel out and explore further we would visit again when we have a car, however the bus stop is opposite the property making getting to the town centre very easy, bus drivers very helpful and informative. The accommodation was a great insight to our visit to Salisbury, we would visit again.

Wonderful calm location and easily accessible.

The room is at the back of the house facing the garden and quite secluded. Includes a wonderful little kitchen, front room with couch and television, clean bathroom and large bedroom. The location is 12 minutes from Stonehenge, in walking distance of quite a few pubs and a very nice central location for visiting Bath or The New Forest. The hosts are kind and thoughtful. The stay included a guidebook full of recommendations, thermoses to borrow, flashlight and hi-vis vest, along with some bread, cereal, butter, milk and eggs in the fridge. Our stay was very comfortable!

I had such a wonderful stay here! The host is affable, kind and ready to answer any question I had. I was staying alone so really appreciated the attentiveness. I was provided with milk, bread, eggs and more on arrival which was so useful as it meant I did not have to traipse around for a cup of tea! I would highly recommend saying here if you want to be near Salisbury but away from the noise and crowds. The surroundings were peaceful and beautiful despite the constant rain. The home was warm at all times which went quite a way considering it was December and fairly cold outside. I was even dropped off at the station by the host on my return home. This was such a kindness as I had quite a cumbersome guitar to transport. I really cannot praise this place enough!

The hosts kindly provided milk, cereals, butter, eggs and bread. The apartment was super-clean and very well appointed. The kitchen had all the equipment that we required, and more.

Our only disappointment was the shower hose - which was vey tricky to manage, and a poor shower head. We passed all this on directly to the host at the time.

Location was great. Lovely peaceful, private, self contained flat overlooking the lake with outdoor seating by the water.

Super schoon. Hele vriendelijke eigenaar. Goede tips. Heel aardige ontvangst met gratis brood, koekjes en een gevulde koelkast met soja melk (op verzoek), vers fruit, boter en eieren. En een fles bubbels!

De bank is wat klein om met z’n tweeën prettig te zitten. Misschien een extra fauteuil?
