Our third stay and , as usual, the property was excellent. Melbourne is a lovely town with many good restaurants.

The only small niggle for us ,being of the older generation, is the configuration at the top of the stairs that means we sleep in the second bedroom for safety reasons if we have to get up in the middle of the night but that may just be us being extra cautious !!

Lovely little cottage, beautiful kitchen especially. Perfect location, about a 2 minute walk from the Main Street with a few good restaurants. The host left a really helpful folder in the kitchen with information of loads of walks and local culture, things to do, good restaurants and cafes, menus etc. We were going to Donington Park and this was a really handy place to stay, around a 6/7 minute drive and got parked on the street next to the cottage with absolutely no problem at all each day. Facilities were great, great kitchen, great shower, some low ceilings upstairs which were interesting but all part of the character of the property

What a beautiful cottage, the pictures do not do it justice. It was immaculately, everything you needed was provided.

Just need a bath mat for the shower as but slippery for an older person.

Great location on the edge of the main path into the village. Clean and comfortable accommodation. Host was helpful in letting us put our food into the fridge earlier than check-in.

Lovely cosy cottage, close to a great little town, full of independent shops and cafes, with great walks, pubs, and bars. Bed was really comfy, fantastic shower, and well equipped kitchen

Was a bit chilly when we arrived, but we easily followed the instructions to turn the heating up.

The whole property was just perfect!

The accommodation was perfect for us and there was nothing that hadn’t been thought of.

Whilst it wasn’t an issue for us, we were mindful of the layout if going from the main bedroom to the bathroom particularly in the dark as if one lost one’s footing at the top of the stairs, one might slip. If of average height or taller, the eaves in the 2nd bedroom dictate that you can only stand up in the middle of the room.
