Upper Flat, The Manse, Painswick

Location was excellent and parking a real bonus. Beds comfortable and kitchen well equipped.

The location was spot on .

The rooms were all a good size, and the living space was beautiful especially with the window seats. Everything was immaculate and spotless and there was plenty of crockery and cutlery etc, extra bedding etc. It was brilliant to have parking, which is unusual in the centre of Painswick and it was really convenient to have independent access.

Good location, has parking (which in Painswick is a premium). Spacious and generally has everything you could need.

Bathroom really needs a curtain. If you go to the loo (and the light being automatic) you feel like the whole of the Cotswolds can see you….Twin room has blind but could do with a curtain. Personal preference would be to replace the sofa bed in the kitchen/living room with a more comfortable sofa and chair. The sofa bed would make it sufficient for seven people which the seating space can’t really cope with. Five is plenty and we would have preferred a more comfortable sofa and chair for the evening.

Host sent me details the week leading up to our stay including places to eat & drink. Lovely property and perfect for our stay. Painswick is a lovely place. Would love to come back again and stay longer.

Well equipped and comfortable. The owner checked in to see that we had what we needed. We were able to prepare meals in comfort. I recommend shopping in Stroud if you like plentiful produce.

There is noise from nearby traffic. We adjusted to this but with the windows open it was occasionally loud, depending on the time of day. I still highly recommend!
