Secluded, Charming and Unique! Spacious Apartment EXCELLENT Central Location

The proximity to restaurants and old town.

The unit was very outdated and the lowest effort was put into making it feel comfortable. There were various ant bait traps throughout. Walls, outlets, and various things need attention. The bathroom floor was dirty upon arrival. Was supposed to be cleaned thoroughly; was overlooked or not done at all. It made me feel if the bathroom wasn’t properly cleaned, what was the status rest of the unit. I would personally have a lock installed on the attic entrance, located in the bedroom on the left of the stairs.

The location, size of the apartment and the price were great. I was doing some work remotely so it was great to have the additional space in the kitchen with a desk. The internet was reliable and we could do our laundry for free. It was also very quiet. Thank you for the coffee machine! And the owner was super responsive.

Cleaning could have been done better. We were disappointed by what was available in the kitchen (i.e. oil for cooking) but I think that might be because we are spoiled by what we get in NZ in these types of apartments. We were there for a week so it would have been good to have some things to clean the apartment with while we were there e.g. vaccum cleaner, broom, more than one cloth and teatowel (there were six of us).

Handy location to motorway and old Town. Spacious for a family. Comfy couches and beds. Nice having kitchen facilities. Great communication.

It was clean spacious and perfect for us. It had everything we needed. And the property managers were friendly

The bed was a bit too soft for me. I did need a harder surface, so I slept on the most comfortable couch.

This property is very clean and well supplied. It is conveniently located to many of the sought after San Diego attractions. The beds and furniture were very comfortable. It was very quaint and we enjoyed its unique look and feel. It made our stay feel more like home. It was quiet and peaceful. The parking is free and right on site. The host was very responsive and made sure to answer any questions we had. I would recommend it to anyone looking for an alternative location to a hotel

If you’re looking for a place that’s styled and decorated in a modern or new style, you might be disappointed. That was not an issue for me, but it might be for some guests.

This was a great apartment, very spacious. We originally had a party of 5 attending, unfortunately by the time of the stay my sister and my mom's husband could not attend so it was just myself, my partner and my mom. Had all 5 us been staying, there still would have been ample space for us all. Really spacious. I had a bit of trouble working the thermostat for the air con, but I've been living in the UK for the last 15 years without ever having to use one so it was down to me just not being familiar with them! The beds were comfy and clean. Sofas downstairs were comfy. It was a good location, and not too far from the things we wanted to do. It was great to have our own space to come back to after adventuring during the day and being able to cook our own breakfasts etc. We really enjoyed our stay here!

We only had a slight noise issue on the Froday evening from one fo the venues down the road, however we were just watching movies and once we went up to the bedrooms we didnt hear it anymore. Not something the host can control, and didnt bother us too much but just something to be aware of. We didn't experience any ants inside the apartment like some reviews mention, we did end up with ants in our car though (luckily my mom's car so not a big deal!) We did park under the tree, so could be a contributing factor! The host can't control nature obviously, but again just something to be aware of! We put ant bait in the car overnight once we returned to my mom's house and it seems to have sorted it out! We really enjoyed our stay here!
