Haus Schönblick

The location is wonderful. A quiet village on the edge of the Eifel, with trails all around. The apartment is wonderful for a two-week stay if you are interested in hiking. You can easily hike 5 to 10 km every day on a different trail. Einruhr, with many restaurants and little shops, is about 30 minutes walking.

The village is actually two villages, Dedenborn and Seifenauel, separated by the river, along one long and winding road. There are no grocery stores or even a little shop to buy bread. Not even in Einruhr. The closest is a 10 minute drive to Simmerath, where you will find all the standard German supermarkets.

There were no towels. It would have been nice to have at least bath towels.

Really clean and comfortable. Very helpful host. Scenery is really magnificent and the start of many walks.

Very clean and tidy upon arrival. Plenty of kitchen appliances and utensils available with ample storage space. Amazing view from the apartment with the relaxing sound of the stream below in the evenings and night time. Numerous parking spaces available so parking was never an issue. Olaf was very friendly, helpful and gave excellent suggestions for places to visit.

It was a little confusing which was our apartment on arrival, but Olaf was on hand to help out. It took a little time to get used to the hob as it seemed to take a while to get hot although this wasn't a big problem.

Just perfect accommodation with all you would need for a comfy stay and outstanding view to the valley. Olaf, the owner, is pleasant, friendly and helpful guy. All exceeds expectations! Definitely highly recommend. Looking forward to a new visit
