Location, warm cost flat

Lightbulbs not working, plugs didn’t fit sinks. One of showers dirty. Not enough glasses for 4 people

The location is great, close to the town center and train station.

The lift doesn't go to the 5th floor. We have to carry 3 heavy luggage upstairs (actually by myself as my grandparents apparently could not help). But this information was never provided at the booking website. I did not choose this flat and did not know this is the arrangement. Had I known earlier the flat isn't directly acessible with a lift I would not have done the booking. This is the part I feel a bit deceived. Also the shelf in the kitchen collapsed and all the glassware fell to the floor and shattered. My grandparents were almost hurt by the shattered glass. After investigation, it turned out that the pins holding the shelf were clearly worn out, causing the safety hazard. I wrote to the property with the photos attached, and fortunately it was resolved quickly. The washer-dryer did not dry our clothes. We tried a few times, got frustrated, then simply hanged our clothes on the balcony. The sink in the toilet is clogged and water does not go down the drain quickly, which looks disgusting. Finally, for some reason, the drinking water we got from the kitchen, once allowed time to settle, contains a lot of limescale salt to the point that they are visible.

We travelled down from Scotland to visit family. Place hadn`t been cleaned before our arrival, microwave had food splattered inside it and was rusty, all window blinds were damaged with the living room one being unusable, 2 x chairs broken, sofa and rug was filthy as was the balcony as it was covered in moss hadn`t been cleaned since the place was built, mould in en-suite bathroom from water leak, most bulbs were blown with those that were still present being incorrect wattage so were very dim. Photos on advert appeared to have been taken many years ago as it is NOTHING like the delapidated state it is in now, but all furniture is the same just old, dirty and broken. No maintenance appears to have been performed whatsoever the place is being used as a cash cow i.e take in the rent and do nothing to maintain it. Disgusting - DO NOT BOOK!

Good size

13 minute walk to train station not 2 minutes Apartment smelly on arrival, paintwork shabby and shower dirty. No hot water in bathroom so unable to use bath/shower. Kettle needs de-scaling. Blinds broken in living room so unable to close, no privacy when dark. Blind in main bedroom has gaps in it so reduced privacy. Suggestions: Collect parking permit with keys so it can displayed immediately in car as we forgot to display it in car immediately. Inform where bins are as well as access code.
