Finchden Barn

Good and quiet location.

No information supplied in the property about the area. No information about how to use the cooker, log burner, etc. No coat hangers, just hooks on back of doors. I have never before stayed in a property that did not supply these things. The kitchen cupboards need some work on the doors. I had to wash a saucepan, one of the Le Creuset ones, and the colander before I could use them. I'm sorry to be so negative but this is how it was.

Quiet and spacious accomodation. Had everything I needed. Great shower.

Needed a fan as was very warm. Everything else was fine.

The place has character, the living area was exceptional. Shower was also very good

I would recommend the owners look into some clothe hanging facility in the bedrooms, even a simple rail. The layout was a little unusual, walking straight into the bedroom from the front door, but I could see that it was the best use of the space available.

No wardrobe, so hangers would have been useful

Found the beds very comfortable and the duvets just right. Good to have our privacy but knowing the host was on hand if help needed. Appreciated the easy parking access. Enjoyed the fact we could walk into town.

Property would have benefitted from more hanging space / coat hangers. We didn't find any food waste bags.
