The location was beautiful.

Just a few tea bags/coffee sachets/creamer/hut milk would have been nice to start you off if you forgot to pack them! 😂 The hot tap in main bathroom basin had no water . Mildly irritating for that person.

Everything you would need , lovely big open spaces and beautiful views . Spacious and airy within a beautiful building and area to explore . A perfect home from home , wouldn't hesitate to stay again and have encouraged friends and family as so impressed

Although beautiful and clean , some areas did feel a little "tired" , cushions on settee.

Lovely location at the end of a single track lane deep in a dale with walks from the front door in all directions, and nature all around. Miller’s Dale, Monsal Dale and its trail, and Ashford in the Water are all beautiful walks. The rest of the Peak District is not far away by car. The pub at the beginning of the road was popular and friendly. The east facing apartment has morning sun (in summer at least) and is spacious and light with high ceilings and ample space. All the appliances we used worked fine. The parking space and the washer-dryer was an added bonus. The water flowing past and beneath the building flows with quite some volume – not a problem for us, but also not what one would call tranquil – but a short way further upstream or downstream, it is as peaceful as can be.

First of all a positive aspect: Many points mentioned in previous reviews had been resolved on our visit. We had no problem accessing the flat or using the key fobs, likewise no problem disposing of rubbish in the appropriate bins. Instructions were good and thorough. Towels were in good condition, the bed we used too. It was (a cool) summer and the duvet we had was not too hot. Place mats are provided, similarly adequate glasses and mugs. As other reviewers have mentioned, there were no condiments etc. at all in the flat so bring salt, pepper, oil, salad dressing, sugar, coffee, tea bags with you, likewise cling film, aluminium foil, kitchen paper as needed. While we had no mobile phone reception in the dale, phoning via wifi / messenger service was fine.

Location was amazing. Huge sitting room and comfortable furniture.

Self catering. Location was further out than anticipated

Bedroom window ill fitting would not close properly and missing handle on one side,could be draughty in cold weather and water gushing underneath apartment made it noisy at night. Better explanation of door code use could have been better.

Location and the great apartment. So many walks to do without moving the car. 😀
