Awning was old and torn. Gave a very bad first impression to a nice apartment. Shower door off rail. Host advised this but did nothing about it. Fine apartment . Modern bathrooms bedrooms kitchen. . With a little TLC I.e. re cover sofa. Fix above items . We would be happy to pay more. Very good value would prefer to have all in good order and pay more. Floors in living area we cleaned ourselves.

We have enjoyed the location and spacious apartment. It has all what needed as basics and appliances are high quality but not maintained.. For the location and value, it worth it. The beds were somehow comfy and enough towels provided same as chemicals for self-cleaning. The beach is maybe 15 min walk, same as restaurants and some shops. Bigger supermarkets, Lidl, Aldi, Continente, Pingo Doce, Apolonia, are approximately 15 min away by car same as Outlet Algarve/ Mar Shopping. Farmers and Fish market also maybe 10 min by car. Careful in these markets as they tend to sell you on higher prices if they notice you are not Portuguese :-(

The apartment is not well maintained at all. Shower doors broken, electric outlets broken, canopy in balcony all teared apart, even small stuff such as batteries from remotes were needed to be bought. Balcony door not locking and not to be considered as safety freak, but still gives you worries that when gone out from house anyone can enter through balcony door. The induction stove works only for some kitchen pots, so might need a reset and check as well. The interesting fact is that if a little effort and little money would be invested all could be fixed easily and would give full comfort for the guests and also a higher rating as the place is great, but again, not maintained at all.
