Lovely apartment right in the heart of Anstruther, 2 min walk to shop, restaurants and sea front, we used this location to explore the area and play golf in St Andrews, apartment comes with every appliance you will need for your stay, kettle, toaster, microwave, fridge, dishwasher, 2 bathrooms, tv. very easy to find and get keys out of lockbox, apartment was spotless, 5 *

Exceptional, well equipped apartment. It was clean and tidy and the beds were also extremely comfortable. Near all the local amenities. Would definitely recommend.

Others have mentioned the spiral stairs, but not an issue for us, the only small issue was that you couldn’t shut the kitchen blinds unless you were 6ft 4, which luckily I am. An issue that can be easily remedied.

Lovely quirky accommodation, very comfortable and well equipped . Comfortable beds and great shower in the main bedroom. There was a lovely welcome pack on arrival which was much appreciated.Easy walking distance to the harbour and shops.Overall , great stay Top tip: parking can be a nightmare but there is a free overnight car park in front of the Co-op (not the Co-op car park!) which is within 5 minutes walking distance.

I didn't affect us, but the stairs up to the apartment are very narrow and steep, and would impact others less mobile or with small kids

Smugglers Loft was clean and comfortable. Access via the close next to the shop was a tiny bit awkward but once inside everything was fine, very well appointed and in good condition. Once inside there are stairs to the kitchen, first bathroom with toilet and sitting room on the first floor from which a second staircase takes you to the two bedrooms one with ensuite toilet and shower. The stairs are quite wide and easy to ascend. Everything was clean and warm ideal for two couples. The beds were comfy and the kitchen was well equipped. We didn't notice any noise from outside. It is a very handy location close to the centre and The Bank Hotel for excellent breakfast or evening meal. Theres an early morning and late night shop very close if you need bread or milk or more. And an ATM. On arrival a very tasty welcome pack was waiting for us on the kitchen table

Not much. I suppose the access and stairs are the only negatives but really they aren't a problem for most people

Had a great stay, very homely and cosy ,central to everything you need in Anstruther will definitely be back, the owners couldn't be any more helpful when required only a phone call or text away 😀
