AC was not built for the 35C heatwave that was in Zagrochoria at the time. But the nights were cool… 😎

Most of all we liked the host - Machi. She is one of the warmest, hospitable person we have ever met. She speaks decent English and was always ready to advise and to help. Not to mention the homemade breakfasts prepared by her mom. We liked the place very much.

It is well maintained and the staff make you feel at home.

It was just perfect. The location is so good. Machi, the host, was so nice and helpful. She helped us every morning to plan our trip for the day. The breakfast was completely homemade and tasty. We recommend Althea Guesthouse very much!

The people are wonderful the area is stunning the food is exceptional. Machi and Konstadina go out of ur way to make you feel like family. Just wonderful kind people that take care of their property and truly enjoy having guest.

Everything was perfect

Great host and good home-made breakfast. Very friendly and helpful. The complex is beautiful with a nice garden. Close driving distance to most areas in Zagori.

Kitchen in the room is a little small and has only basic accessories

The owner provides a warm reception and excellent service, always ready to assist in any way possible. The hotel and garden are stunning, and the food is prepared fresh, directly from the garden. The breakfast served here is undoubtedly the best! The spacious and cozy rooms are perfect for families.
