Althea Guesthouse

There are not enough words to express how much we loved staying at Althea guest house. We are a couple with a baby, we stayed for 4 nights. Everything was perfect, the room was big and comfortable, with a large carpet so our baby could play on it. Outside there is a lovely garden with forest view. The breakfast is exceptional, almost everything is home made, we enjoyed it so much and it kept us full for a whole day of traveling. Ano Pedina is a great location, it is central and close to everything (around 40 minutes to the most remote villages) but still small and authentic. It is really the best place for families. Machi the owner who runs the place, is the most incredible person. She is the best host, always made sure we had everything we needed. She gave us great recommendations about what is worth seeing in Zagori area. At the end of our trip, it felt like saying goodbye to our family. We will definitely come back.

Wifi is very weak The sofa bed is not comfortable but ok for kids The tv is small with no netflix But in vacation it is not necessary

Wonderful host, family place. Delicious breakfast and excellent rooms. Mahi really helped us plan everything for Zagoria and was extremely helpful and kind.

The most amazing breakfast all around Zagori for sure! We stayed there for 6 nights and enjoyed every moment. Mahi and her mother and sister were so welcoming, nice and helpful it was really a pleasure and we will definitely come back. The location is in the center of Zagori and for us it was very comfortable to travel around. Very spacious rooms with all the pacilities needed to cook your own dinner if wanted! Definitely recommended!!!

The owner, Machi, her mother and the rest of the staff were absolutely wonderful. Breakfast was excellent! The room was impeccably clean!
