The HOST was very unprofessional. I originally booked another apartment elsewhere but after arriving and contacting the host and waiting for 45 minutes FOR A REPLY I discovered that I had to pay £250 deposit or my stay will be cancelled with NO REFUND. It was late and I couldn’t cancel and start looking for another place. I had to drive to a nearby supermarket to collect the key from a security box then drive TWICE around the centre of the city as the location was bang in the city centre with lots of driving restrictions and NO PARKING. Terrible experience all in all. NO DECENT TOWELS AND NO HOT WATER IN THE SHOWER. NEVER AGAIN WITH THIS HOST

BEWARE OF DEPOSIT - I’ve never left a review for staying somewhere but I thought I really needed to here so can help others when deciding to stay here. I stayed one night and didn’t read the reviews before doing so. I paid the owner a £200 deposit. I had to collect the keys from a small deposit box outside a supermarket about 3-4 mins drive away. When I checked out, I made sure that everything was clean and exactly the same as when I entered and even made a video. When I left the apartment, the owner messages me asking me about a ‘large wine glass’. I told her I never touched any glasses. The owner then messaged to say she found pieces of glass. I cannot believe this is what the owner was alleging when I had not done anything at all. I was very worried that she was going to allege something else and keep the deposit. She then said she was going to keep £10 of the deposit until she had looked into the wine glass issue. The apartment itself was large but run down with blinds that were ripped and didn’t close as they were missing, There was a sofa/settee that seemed very flimsy and about to break. The main door was not very secure and the bedroom door did not close. You can also hear noise from outside. Overall, I would have left a decent review but just beware of the deposit issue as the owner may try and keep this. I’ve since read this was a similar issue with others who stayed before me.

Well worth the money and the balcony was a bonus but the sofa chairs was a little to be desired maybe I’m sorry lol

We didn’t like going to two places on arrival, meaning picking up the apartment keys from another location but it was en route to be fair. And we only received one bath towel and 2 hand towels , no welcoming soaps or shampoo which I’m used too, other than that was a bargain apartment will deffo come again even tho we had to transfer £200 with refund on any damages but did get back straight away that was nice.
