Catchpole Stays Abbey Field Apartment- A lovely 2 bed apartment with field views near Colchester town centre

I can honestly say that I loved everything about this property, the communication between myself and the owners was always helpful. Clean, well designed and very well stocked with towels, plates/cutlery etc. the location was excellent with it being a 20 minute walk to High Street in Colchester. Fabulous!!!

The apartment was so cosy, very clean, had everything you needed. Very spacious, the location is great with a lovely view of abby field. I would love to come back and I definitely would stay again at this apartment. Had a slight issue with the sink tap which I reported and within 5 minutes someone called me to sort it so very happy with the response, the front door lock is abit fiddly, some times it's easy to lock and sometimes it isn't but overall we loved our stay.

Not much to say really as we really enjoyed ourselves, would be nice if there was a coffee table or a nest of tables to put you drinks on when watching TV but other than that the apartment is super

The location was good, what we wanted (but a bit far from town if that's what you need). Two bedrooms was a bonus, and there was a good amount of space in the bathroom and lounge/kitchen/diner. The service and communication with the host company was excellent. Great to have covered parking.

The beds were not particularly comfortable, and the bedrooms were small and cramped.

What I didn’t like was when I wanted to take the trash out of the home after cleaning but couldn’t find where to drop the trash off and no one to ask. However, I tied it up and dropped it in the kitchen.
