Indigo Apartment

The room and bathroom were quite spacious, even though we were multiple people. It was a great location if you like going out or shopping: close by many restaurants and shops. Kitchen is nice and well-stocked with utensils, cutlery and dishes. Good amenities: ironing board, blow-dryer etc.

There was so much noise outside of the apartment. The music and the crowd going out were loud until approx. 2 AM in the morning, but that was expected given the location. However, the garbage trucks coming in every morning around 5:30 - 6AM, and dumping 15+ containers filled with glass was not expected and raised the noise to quite unpleasant levels. The property should really invest in double-glass windows and better noise isolation measures. Only stay here if you're fine with getting under 3 hours of sleep. Beds were super hard, to the point of it being uncomfortable - bedsheets were clean but very old.

Everything was great, nice decoration and great facilities.

Location was great. The Apartment was lovely and had everything you require for a stay. Very comfortable bed.

The noise outside, due to being next to the local bars. The windows hide no noise at all which ruins the stay unfortunately. I was awake until they shut, and then again at 4am due to vehicles driving up and down. It sounded like they were dropping things off.

The location was very convenient and the property was gorgeous. Comfy bed and lovely en suite.

The area was very noisy until around 12am, when party goers had gone home. This wasn't too bad. However, between 3am and 4am, there was further noise as local shops/bars were getting deliveries (Clattering of metal and glass and men shouting to each other). I think the noise problem would be solved with double glazing.

Location/ease of use.

The bed sheets and towel mat were slightly stained (fake tan perhaps!). Was bit cold in the night so maybe some blankets other than the throw on the bed would have been a nice touch.

Couldn’t get any heat in the lounge area, bedroom fine but lounge heater not working properly.

Location was brilliant, very central. Apartment well appointed. Nice shower.

Cold on entry, but heaters worked (although asked not to leave on whilst not in apartment). Quilt was a bit light for winter, bed quite hard, but was ok.

Excellent location, within sight of New Street Station and a stone's throw from everything! The apartment was quiet and private, well furnished and clean, with complementary coffee pods and water ready upon arrival. Our host, Annie, was incredible - meeting us at the property and running through any questions we had.

The property doesn't retain heat brilliantly, we needed to run the radiators hot and also invest in a heated blanket, but this was during exceptionally cold weather.
