5 hours before our stay was due I received a personal message saying I had to pay an additional £25 or cancel! Not at all acceptable. We cancelled!

The location - close to Moseley village and city center. The access to the lovely garden. Having the family home there in case I had an emergency. The kitchen was quite nice and had the necessary equipment. The owners were very responsive and helpful. The house was warm and cosy.

I could not get the shower to work. I was sick so did not want to call on the owner to help me but even after following the instructions the shower was either boiling hot or freezing cold. I ended up using a pan of water for the shower and washed my hair in the kitchen sink. The toilet kept dripping water as did the bathroom tap. I didn’t like the fact that we were expected to clean up, empty the bins, clean the kitchen surfaces etc. upon leaving the property and if that checklist wasn’t complete then we would need to pay the charges listed. I have never stayed in a property that requested that before. It would have been helpful if I knew that I had to access the property by entering a garage with an electric door and then three other doors. I found that laborious particularly when moving heavy cases. It also meant that I couldn’t quickly open the door for food deliveries since the house doesn’t have a number. It is a small house in the back garden of the main property. It would have also been helpful to know that the free parking was actually street parking. Upon exiting the property at 3am, we were approached by a strange man as we got in our car and it was a very scary experience. I would have preferred to have parking on the driveway itself.

"Lovely apartment close to all the amenities in Moseley"

Lovely one bedroom apartment in an annexe to the back of the main house. Excellent location on a quiet road just off the main road into Moseley which is just a 5 minute walk away & brings you to the shops, bars & restaurants. Was ideally situated for us as we were visiting our daughter. Comfortable bed, ensuite bathroom, lovely little open plan lounge area & kitchen area. Bifolding doors gave us access to the garden & our own little patio with table & chairs. We were met on arrival by Amy the owner who couldn't do enough for us. Entrance to the annex was through the garage which had an electric security shutter which felt a bit odd at first but did mean the Coach House was very secure.

My husband couldn't stand in parts of the ensuite but not really a problem as there was another toilet off the entrance porch.

"It was a nice stay in a good neighborhood. All supermarkets are around 1 miles away from there."

It has complete privacy and has big lawn in front. Kitchen has almost everything you need to make your meals. You even can find working table there and whole place has windows for proper ventilation.

Heating does not work properly and its very slow which can be improved. Also washing machine can also be installed there. And washroom lock should be installed.
