Maison I Love Mont Blanc

Location excellent for the TMB hiking trails. Well equipped. Owner was very friendly and helpful, with good advice of things to do in the town. Property has handy parking on site.

A bit of noise from the flat above occasionally.

Really cosy, lovely atmosphere and good facilities. Great location for town and the trails. Quiet location.

Not the easiest location to find

Very nice and cozy flat, super clean and walking distance from the center of Courmayer. We really enjoyed our stay.

We are three people and stayed at this flat for two nights ahead of the Tor des Geants. The flat is well located about 8 minutes walk down the hill to the center of town.

Unfortunately, that’s about all the good that I can say about it. The booking summary indicates the unit has mountain or city views. That’s just not an accurate statement. The unit is located in the back of a tight cluster of buildings and any view out of any window was a push. One of the bedroom windows was into a stairwell where an automatic light would come on when residents from other units passed by. There was ‘stuff’ on every counter and surface making it difficult for us to place anything down. One of our group is 6’0” and couldn’t fit in a bunk bed. One bed was not made up with linen and we couldn’t locate any spare set. The top bunk is extremely close to the ceiling and quite claustrophobic. We were offered two parking spots for Euro20 per night (in writing), which we accepted (despite the listing saying private parking was available on-site). At the end of our stay, the host demanded Euro 80 saying the Euro 20 was per spot per night. We responded by indicating that was not the quoted rate and at Euro80, we would have used the free parking 50m away. We also indicated we would pay what we owed asap but that we were competing in a 75hr continual race starting in one hour. During that 75hrs the hosts have hounded us with emails, WhatsApp, complaining to Bookings.com and threatening police action! Overall, a very poor experience. We highly recommend avoiding this situation and aggressive hosts.
