Beautiful Oceanfront Garden Suite! La Tejita!

Absolutely beautiful appointment with all you need for comfortable stay. 5 min away from the beautiful La Tejita beach. Shop and restaurants just across the road. Very close to the bus stop. Highly recommend.

We stayed here for the second time. Perfect location, you can find everything you need in the appartment. Really lovely beach La Tejita close, only 5min walk. Shopping and restaurant also near. Really enjoyed our stay and hope to come back :)

La Tejita beach is quite windy, so sometimes you need to go to other beach or you can rent a beach bed, that solves the problem.

The apartment is phenomenal, very well maintained and equipped with everything one could need - from a microwave oven, toaster, peeler, corkscrewer, there are ample cooking pots and pans available, wine and shot glasses, a drying rack, flat screen TV in every room, etc. The internet worked flawlessly. We particularly appreciated the window shades so that the children did not wake up at dawn. The access to the motorway around Tenerife is very good (10 min. by car) and La Tejita is a perfect starting point for both exploring the entire island as well as close enough to the less windy beaches of the western part of the island. Given the vicinity of the airport (15 min by car), we feared it may be loud due to very high air traffic, but planes were hardly heard - only sometimes, very early in the morning if one happened to be awake while the entire house is still asleep. A supermarket is just across the street, and there are few bars and restaurants in the same complex so all necessary infrastructure is right next to the apartment. 5 km away in three different directions, more options are available for shopping or eating out. The kids loved the common pool, which is located within the residential complex just around the corner from the apartment. The beach is 5min on foot away. We were grateful for convenient check-out time (11.00AM). The hosts were very friendly as well. We generally try to book cheap apartments for holidays because we are usually around from morning until late evening and hardly spend any time inside, but overall, this was not only one of the best apartments we have stayed at, but we can warmly recommend it also for those looking for a fancy place.

There was nothing we disliked. Few notes for those who may not have the same needs or expectations as we did: The apartment is part of a newly developed area that may be residential, but felt as a pure holiday resort. However, this is not Playa de las Americas. Don't expect a plethora of bars, restaurants or discotheques within a walking distance. Be prepared to drive 5km to El Medano, San Isidro or Las Chafiras (conditionally) for more choice. However, the prices in the mentioned settlements are reasonable and nearly half lower than in Playa de las Americas, Costa Adeje or Los Cristianos. Second, La Tejita is a popular kite-surfing spot. While the beach is near, it was very windy throughought our entire stay. The wind sometimes only calmed down in the evening. Sitting outside on the terrace was not an option. This is, however, typical for the entire coast of Tenerife, apart from the western side, as the wind (in spring, at least) predominantly blows from north-east. If your primary plan is to lie and sunbathe on the beach, move to the western coast instead. If you primary plan is to travel the island, La Tejita and the area a bit to the east is perfect because it has a drier climate than the north, but a very good access to all parts of the island.

In front of the appartment there is a new house construction. So not so much sea view, BUT that still did not dissapointed us :)
