Leckhampton Road Apartments - Cheltenham

We were not happy with the accommodation. We arrived to see damp patches on the wall of the hallway, giving a damp smell. My wife is asthmatic so within 3 hours she was wheezing. This resulted in us having to stay out of the accommodation all day and only coming back briefly to sleep. Other issues included a leaking bathroom tap, leaking shower hose, shower leaking onto floor and leaking heated towel rail. I booked this accommodation as a surprise break for my wife, which ended up being very upsetting and disappointing. For the amount charged, I would have expected a much better maintained property.

Great place and easy to find not far from the city centre. Great amount of space.

The heating was VERY slow to get up to temperature, all the knifes were not sharp so made cooking difficult. There was no sponge to wash up (host told us not to worry about the washing up because of that). The shower was not very clean compared to other cheap stays I have been too and the shower pressure was very poor. Are are leaks round fixings in the bathroom. The WiFi not worked in the kitchen, once you moved away and good to the bedroom you get no WiFi signal (Good WiFi does not go through walls well) even in the kitchen I was only getting 2mgps down which was not useable for me to get work done. So ended up using my data.

It's really close to the family that we were visiting for the weekend we had a lovely time and the apartments are really lovely
