That we weren’t allowed in and it’s clearly a scam and god hates these people and they are condemned to hell

my stay was 2 days ago and i still havent heard from the host. so we had to book a hotel. waiting for a refund!

The smell of weed coming from flat above and next door is overpowering. Main door was locked with chain on arrival so had to make way through veranda doors, then into a door at side of living room that only half opens. The toilet self flushes every 10 minutes and all the radiators were capped, so no heating. The bedding and facilities were horrendously unclean to which we decided to check out straight away and find a hotel. Even though first day was paid as did not reimburse the £200 deposit is still not been returned 2 months later.

distance to birmingham station and NEC was good. Easy parking. reasonably quiet for a city centre stay local train station and bus stops.

awful condition, not as many beds as advertised only sleeps 4 not 5, owner demanded an additional "deposit" before giving code for key box which they have kept, ignoring all messages and calls AVOID.

Locking the door and travelling to premier inn for the rest of my 3 night stay.

Communication with Host was poor, we had to pay an additional £250 damage deposit to gain access to the key at the building. Upon entry of the apartment it already in a filthy state, like someone was already living in there.. Few examples, there was dried blood on the bed sheets. Listed as a "quiet apartment" other tenants was playing loud music between 10pm - 2am throughout the night. Food waste on the Ovens & Hobs, False advertising on the rooms displayed on the website is not the room we was given. Unsafe storage for clothing, main wardrobe almost fell on our guest when storing his bag inside, we then looked into it further to find a bit of wood wedged underneath the wardrobe so it can barely stand up on its own, looks like the leaning tower of Piza. Dirty needles found outside of the building property.

The smell of smoking drugs in the street, Communication with the landlord is very poor and difficult Landlord is not able to send you an invoice of your stay Rooms have a bad smell Walls show signs of moister and mushrooms Airplanes fly over as the landing is in the backyard The continuous flushing of the toilet makes noise that you hear all the time Beds are in a poor State

Close to motorway and NEC - cheaper than staying onsite at NEC Large rooms Cool (temperature) rooms Free Wifi (although had to chase for code)

NOT wheelchair accessible - hallway too narrow to turn chair in bedrooms, Front door did not open fully making difficult getting through door and lip on doorway meant chair got stuck, no dropped kerb on that side of road - could go over grass but only as weather was good Sub-let building as official post to residence threatening enquiry No allocated parking Strong smell of pot in communal hall Walls were slightly grubby and tired Almost too cold inside and lacking hot water.
