Old town studio

The apartment was in a very convenient location. It was inside the old town of Bratislava so we didn't need to commute at all when we went for sightseeing. Everything was just within walking distance.

I would say, that one thing that would have improved our experience would be having a dining table. We are budget travelers and we prefer cooking our own food instead of eating out, so it would have been amazing if we were able to eat comfortably. However, it was a very quick stay so it didn't matter much.

Very well located in the old city. Basic equipment for an apartment. Excellent Wi-Fi. Many restaurants around. Easily accessible by transit. The host was very helpful.

I couldn't find a grocery store around. The flat TV screen didn't work contrary to what the description on Booking.com says. It said that it was not plugged on internet.

Is a basement.Is very basic and not comphortable at all.Their is not bathroom at all.A small WC ,no sinc ,shower in someth like kitchen.Not even one think made comphortable.

It was in a basement and the other tenants didn't even know it existed. The beds were all in one room and the shower was in the kitchen. We did not sleep there and ended up having to go somewhere else. Do not recommend.

The location was perfect

It does the job for a day. Usually when I can check in at 15 I can keep the place at least til 12.00 the next day. It can do with a couple of coffee mugs and small things like that.

The apartment is advertised as 38 sq.meters but in reality it's 25 meters tops. This requires some savings of space so the shower which looks in the pictures like a bathroom actually is located in the kitchen. Other than that the location is great, and the property was clean.

The size of the studio given in the advertisement probably included the garden and the pedestrian walk in front of it.

The location is the only plus point this property has

1. This property is NOT 2 bedrooms. There is one bedroom in which there are two SINGLE beds and a sofa bed. 2. Wi-Fi is provided by an old iPhone’s hotspot. Signal will drop out at least 10 times a night and as none of the channels work (could be something to do with the apartment being in the basement) you can only watch Netflix - Netflix runs on Wi-Fi so good luck. 3. the shower is located in the kitchen - this was fine for us as we are a couple but if you have booked this as a 2-bed and are staying with friends or another couple it will cause yet another issue for you (in addition the the sleeping arrangements) 4. common areas such as corridors and the front door are really grotty and unattractive. Graffiti coats the front door. 5. the iPhone I mentioned earlier - this needs a complete reset. I didn’t appreciate accessing the phone to turn on the hotspot and being greeted with videos of pornography or cringeworthy text messages to Jana. 6. the washing machine empties into the shower. Didn’t see this as a problem at first but when you have to sit in the kitchen for 40 mins holding the pipe so the water doesn’t get sucked back in - not ideal. 7. when we arrived at the property a clothes horse full of bedding and towels was erected in the bedroom. these stayed damp all weekend so there was nowhere to hang our clothes. 8. the apartment is cold and feels damp. the heating is temperamental and only worked for us once during our stay.
