Rhenea Resort

From our arrival to our departure, everything was excellent. Having our own pool and daily house keeping made the stay even better. Irini is a very lovely hostess with a very beautiful smile. She had very good recommendations for places to visit and things to do. Nothing was too much for her. Thank you Rhenea Resort and thank you Irini.

There was no microwave in the apartment.

The location was secluded and the individual pools lovely. It is however in the middle of the island but too secluded so one is away from everything. We booked this thinking it was a resort but it is not so there are no facilities around, no food and beverage and we were not made aware ahead of time that we should plan for grocery shopping along the way before arriving. One absolutely needs a car to move around and taxis are expensive.

I was requested to pay another 100 euros for my second teenager as apparently I only booked for one teenager and a baby. Not sure why I had to pay for this as there were two bedrooms anyhow and absolutely nothing extra so it’s not like one is paying for another breakfast for example. My booking although saying I had indeed booked for a 0 year old and a 16 year old confirmed in the confirmation form that I had booked an appartement for a maximum of 4 persons - yet they made me pay another 100 euros for 2 nights - which I could not understand.

This property is a lovely place for a holiday. Quiet and peaceful with a private pool for each individual apartment. The friendly welcome and help with booking trips and tours was also most appreciated.

Only thing I would say is the apartment could do with a long mirror. Other than that for us it was perfect.

Size. Location - close to everything with a car but nice and quiet with an amazing view of the water. Irene was beyond helpful - a little gem of a host. Staying at this resort was the perfect place in Santorini
