Largigi offering two amazing panoramic sea front apartments

Great position

Balcony needs a good clean , glass front filthy covered in spiders and pots full of weeds. You can hear every foot step from above apartment,there was no hair dryer.

Stunning location - the property delivered on this front!

A slight lack of attention to detail....fridge turned off on arrival with a bottle of spoiled milk/cheese. No tea towel or bin bags in the kitchen. Some noise from the upstairs property - especially the running water occasionally - does their flush sometimes stick open?? However, these are minor niggles which can be easily addressed and didn't detract from the glorious location.

Space, view and location

Location was excellent and the living area was huge with large balconies that looked out over the sea. The facilities inside were absolutely spotless and looked new. Kitchen area was well appointed and had everything you would possibly need to quite a long stay.

The sound insulation in the ceiling was not really good enough, we were woken every morning by the people in the apartment above running around, we couldn't hear voices though. The window blinds in the bedrooms only provided privacy and didn't block out any light, in the winter it was a little annoying, in the summer it would be a problem for us as we like a dark bedroom.

Amazing location and views (in both good and bad weather)! Very well laid out with plenty of space in every room and great quality furniture. Extremely clean and comfortable.

Sadly the rough sea on the stones woke us up. But it was beautiful.

The location was everything we had imagined. Didn’t have to worry about keys, walk-in shower, nice fluffy towels.

Such a large lounge needed a bigger tv screen. basic instructions for the cooker would have been useful. Parking was a pain.

The apartment was very spacious. The balcony was lovely. I visited first week of August during the Lyme Regis regatta/carnival so the balcony was great to watch the fireworks. I really enjoyed my stay. I would recommend this property as it is convenient for the beach front, easy walking distance from bars, cafes, restaurants. I loved the floor space in the living room and the balcony.

I didn’t like that the front entry door didn’t have a lock or code so any one from outside could enter the communal hall way. This didn’t feel very safe. Especially after 10pm when the cafe largigi was closed and beach front is quite dark/quiet. There were no instructions on how to use the tv/setting up the streaming services, remote didn’t work very well. A little welcome pack with a map or similar would be a good addition - I know there was some info on the notice board in the kitchen. I was also a little upset that the cleaning crew entered my apartment while I was out - I noticed this when I got home as the lights were left on. I had to message the property owner to ask if someone had entered while I was out. They had but no one had bothered to tell me - this wasn’t very nice or good from a security point of view for anyone but also from a solo traveller perspective. If you stay in the first floor apartment, there is no sound proofing from the 2nd floor larger apartment - I had to listen to adults and kids running up and down all evening. This wasn’t very pleasant and you should consider sound proof flooring to improve guest stay. The down water pipe/gutter from 2nd floor apartment/roof was boxed in/just outside the main bedroom wall so you can hear water constantly flowing down - it is very loud so if you are light sleeper that’s not good.
