amazing location and room. And old period building but the rooms inside are all modern and refurbished with lots of thought through details. Situated just on the margin of the center of the old town - perfect location.

Ideal location to explore Corfu Old Town. It has been renovated and furnished extremely tastefully and to the highest standard. Really quiet inside and down a very pretty lane, but also right in the centre. Thoughtful touches and extra such as fruit, laundry pods and guide books were a welcome addition to the property. The apartment is also immaculately clean!

Philip was a great host! Biscuits, fruit and wine were waiting for us in the apartment. The apartment was spotlessly clean. Philip helped us with every request, and answered us in a few minutes. I don't have enough good words to say about Philip! The perfect host. The apartment is in a perfect location! In the old city but in a quiet place, great location.

There was no hot water when we arrived at the apartment, apparently the boiler's switch had tripped. We wrote to Philip and he of course answered us and also generously offered us a bottle of rosé. Needless to say, except for the first time, there was always hot water in the apartment.

The Consulate suitably lives up to its name, the plush, comfortable and recently refurbished rooms are a delight to stay in, whether it’s for a day or like me, several days. Its fresh modern interiors make it feel like a true home from home, with every luxury you expect from such a name. Philip, the owner, was incredibly helpful throughout my stay - The Nespresso machine and bottle of locally sourced red wine were both little touches which I adored. I loved the big open plan bathroom with walk in shower - The rainfall showerhead was the biggest I’ve ever seen, and the brand new smart washing machine was a godsend during the heatwave, ensuring I had clean clothes no matter what I was doing - Detergent was also included for a couple of washes. There’s a retractable washing line to help dry your clothes. It’s clear that the owner, Philip, has a true passion for creating incredibly comfortable home-from-home apartments, at a very reasonable price. The apartment features state of the art air conditioning, plus an additional designer ceiling fan which was welcome during the heatwave when I stayed; the bed and bedding luxurious; the wifi was quick and very reliable.

I have to really scrape the barrel to find anything wrong with the accommodation; my only comment would be that the door handles are very near the frames, and being round, they can be difficult to grasp. A simple remedy would be to simply switch these handles to level-style handles, which would also improve accessibility all-round. The ground floor is currently disused, but that added to my interest of the building - Helping guests literally peek into the past, but it is prime for a Corfian restaurant or such like.

Gorgeously renovated property. Location is optimal for enjoying town and connecting with tours. Quiet location right on Spanish Square, but quiet. Comfortable bed and top of the line AC system that is quiet and regulates the temperature perfectly. Water filtration system for drinking water. Philip was professional and responsive but also very personable. All the photos of the property, by the owner, are thorough and accurate.

Very small size for a junior suite. Not enough furniture to accommodate clothing. Not comfortable enough for relaxation, perhaps a sofa could facilitate this. Bed lined and towels over a six night stay, were only changed once. Room was also cleaned once. There is an additional fee charged for the cleaning service. Hot water was not enough for two guests. One pair of keys was provided only, which was also inconvenient.
