Modern Townhouse - Sleeps up to 6

The house suited our needs perfectly for a short stopover for a family wedding. It was exceptionally clean and had most of the facilities needed for our stay. Entry was by a key safe and the welcome instructions were comprehensive and clear. Beds were very comfy and the garden (unlike in earlier reviews) was very well tended, though the outside temperature didn’t support sitting out. The two dedicated parking spaces outside the door were very convenient.

In spite of the overall favourable comments, the house did have a number of significant maintenance shortcomings - some serious and safety-related, others just minor annoyances. It’s strange that the house is being let in this condition and that these issues are not being addressed - it’s impossible to believe they all popped up between rentals (we’ve added pictures where possible): - the smoke detector on the middle floor’s ceiling was missing from its holder - a mains socket in the upstairs stairway was broken with a hole through to the wiring - the radiator in the lowest bathroom was hanging off the wall - the cupboard under the kitchen sink had serious water damage with the bottom of the area caved in - the flush button was missing from the toilet in the bottom bathroom - there was no plug for the sink in the top en-suite bathroom - there were no fire extinguishers other than a miniature one on the kitchen worktop - only one appliance plug had a safety test label on it, and even this one was out of date - there was no mirror in the en-suite bathroom at all, which was annoying and unusual - the lounge lighting was very dim, not helped by the only table light being non-functional (possibly the switch) - whilst there was plenty of cutlery in the kitchen in most respects, there was only one teaspoon. - one kitchen mug was badly chipped. Whilst none of these things was a specific problem during our stay, it is surprising the the house management company is not addressing these on an in-going basis.

Perfect setup for our family. Great kitchen, comfy beds. Carpark outside house.

Garden wasn't kept, but not an issue

Door lock very tricky and stressful, bottom oven not working cupboard door in kitchen would not shut. Garden very overgrown does not reflect picture shown only 2 Garden chairs not adequate. No information folder in property.

Lock box by the front door. Very easy instructions given.

The house is spacious, light and very clean. It has 2 large double bed rooms and 2 single beds in another room.. Ideal for large families. Approximately 20 mins from Lego Land.

The pillows were too puffy and the bed on the top floor creaked when you moved or tried to get out.

It's big and has decent amenities. Short drive to Legoland. Clean.

Damp on walls, tatty skirting boards and TV didn't work properly.
