Latanier Beach Hotel

Perfect place for overnight stand. Everything inside AC works perfectly. Everything is close to this place , beach, city, restaurant, alot of bars and fun around.

The only good thing about this place was it was close to the beach. Which helped because we stayed there the whole night because we didn't want to go back to the appartment.

My friends and I booked rooms to be able to go to a party in Grand Baie and have a hygienic place close by to drop our stuff, get ready and and sleep. Basic requirements, right? We reached there and already we knew it was going to be a mess when this guy took out his notebook to record our booking details (talk about hyper manual bookkeeping). Now one of the rooms smelled like bleach so we simply couldn't use it. The room we all decided to stay in given the new creepy situation didn't smell like bleach, but it wasn't better - Ever watched Jeffrey Dahmer? Well if you want to know what it feels like to be in his appartment we strongly advise you to go there. The beds didn't look clean, the mirror was disgusting, we had a kettle and we thought we would be able to boil some water to be sure the water was clean. The moment I tried washing the kettle, some weird black particles that looked like mold came out of it and we were like nope nevermind we'll buy bottles of water. The bedsheets were stained and we had to ask our friends to bring bedsheets for us in case we desperately want to sleep. The washroom smelled so bad we had to spray some perfume and wear a mask to be able to use it (because obviously we had no choice at this point). After the party we so didn't want to go back to that room that we stayed on the beach until morning and checked out as early as we could. It was quite a traumatic experience that we wish no one to go through.
