Arena Apartments - Stylish and Homely Apartments by the Ice Arena with Parking

Loved the location And a very cool place, handy for everything

Just needed the hoover running around but that’s picking

The apartment was close to the motor point arena which we visited on one of the evenings. It was just a 10-minute walk which was ideal. We appreciated that the property had free parking, however instructions were not clear on how to find the parking area so we had to call the office. The apartment was clean overall but could with a fresh coat of paint in each room as the walls were badly marked. The beds were comfortable and the bedding was clean,but didn't smell very fresh!

The apartment was badly equipped with utensils etc. In the kitchen. The sofa which sat two people was very hard and uncomfortable and the apartment actually slept four people. So if four people were to stay there there would be no where for them to sit. At the front of the property was a very busy main road. The bedroom and living room window was very drafty therefore very noisy with passing traffic. Over the three nights we were there One of the guests didn't sleep much due to the noise. There was no guest book in the property with any local information such as bus times, taxi numbers, etc to help guests during their stay, there was also no instructions for anything like the oven, dishwasher or heaters. Therefore we didn't use some of those things. There were two guests staying for three nights and there was one toilet roll which wasn't even full on arrival. This was a bit inconvenient. There was limited hanging space in both bedrooms and only two coat hangers in one of the bedrooms. The hot water supply was very limited, when we were washing dishes, It would run hot and then soon go cold which wasn't very good. The windows were filthy and the blind in the living room moved back and forth because it was so drafty, which made it cold and even more uncomfortable whilst sitting on the sofa. The property management rang to ask about our stay and we discussed these issues with them but as of yet we haven't heard back from them.

The location is great, parking on site is really useful, check in was easy

The mattresses are well used and could use a change. There are some stains on the couch and blinds in the living room area

Very comfortable apartment 5 minute walk from the town centre. Easy access with codes that enabled a very late (early am) arrival.

Location was fine.

Photos were particularly misleading. Accommodation was worse than basic - a lot of 'broken' things and marks on wall. All crockery was dusty and needed to be washed before using. Storage heating created a horrible musty smell. No soundproofing at all - you could hear everyone else all the time.

Location was good, had all amenities you could need.

Stayed in room 6. Unfortunately sofa was uncomfortable and very stained, roller blind stained sent pics to hosts on arrival. Vertical Blinds in bedroom broken so alot if light from main street. Pillows old and lumpy. Not a comfortable stay.
