Kawarau View

Beautiful location, apartment was located close to airport and shops and was very comfortable. Balcony view was beautiful. Heaters in both rooms and reverse cycle in main living made it very toasty.

The electric blanket had large plastic circle on the edge of the mattress that were quite uncomfortable if you accidentally slept on them. It was missing a dishcloth/papertowel so dishes and wiping the surfaces was quite difficult

Almost everything was FABULOUS! From the lovely host/property manager, to the facilities in the property, cleanliness & convenience of the location - we really enjoyed our stay. Was super easy to check in/out as instructions were clearly given few days prior to our stay. Host/property manager was easy to communicate with & responds quickly to queries. What you see in the photos were exactly the same in person - beds were VERY COMFY, bathrooms were clean & balcony view was super nice! :)

If there's one thing to improve on the property - I think it would be the Wi-Fi :) though it's not that of a big deal most esp if you're mostly outside & just staying in to sleep and recharge, unfortunately, most of the time the ping would be over 250ms even after following the troubleshooting guidelines (restart router etc). We did have a few issues uploading files since we were using 7-8 gadgets at a time & find the connection was weaker during evening. We ended up using our own mobile data/plan during most of our stay.

Comfortable, clean and well equipped, secure parking and place to lock and store the bikes. Close to shops and restaurants as well as the walking/cycling path along the river.

Love the interior of the unit, very modern. Bathroom even had a heater rack to dry towels Equip with washer and dryer, and even a drying rack Kitchenette were equipped with pots , pans etc

Had only 1 aircon in the living room, got a little hot despite opening the windows in the rooms 1 side of the bed heater in both rooms were not working

The location was great a few minute walk to the Remarkable shopping centre which you can get most things. Great parking under cover, the apartment was well equipped and very clean and the most spectacular views when the weather decided to play nice. Just a shame that we were there for the most rainiest time in 24 years....but being on the 4th floor (2nd on the lift) was peace of mind.

The lock on the door is confusing, You have to click the lever to the left to lock on the inside, if you don't do that the door does not self lock. Plus it was a little hard to unlock the door, I think the key hole needs a little maintenance. Couch not that comfy for relaxing on.
