This perfectly located central Apartment was the perfect “ away from home” got our 4 d short break Well equipped, clean, with enough basics to get you going-coffee instant and coffee bags – a Sensro Vogel’s maker , kettle and toaster, AEG appliances which are easy and intuitive to use, comfortable beds and a washing machine with washing liquid and conditioner. The wet room shower was perfect with lovely hot water, shampoo, conditioner and body wash towels and sheets were provided Is he very close to bus pick up Home points for tours, Cathedral, the main shopping Street lots of restaurants and bars and yet it’s quiet Great chicken arrangements

Well positioned and furnished apartment, central and close to shops and restaurants, but quiet and secure. Spacious one bedroom apartment, comfy bed and large living room and kitchen, with great bathroom and washer/dryer. Great communication with host, and was easy to access. Would definitely stay again.

Remember your eyemask if travelling in summer, as blind only partially effective, and bedroom remains light while sun is up.

Quick communication and assistance from owner John. (I misread the location of the lockbox to be inside the entrance foyer even though John's instructions clearly said it was on the "patio". All good after that.) Kitchen of my dreams! Streamlined, clean, stocked with coffee pods, tea bags, ramen soups, and all the essentials, it was absolutely perfect! The BEST showerhead in the world! The quietest of courtyards! It always felt safe and inviting. Free overnight parking was found a few blocks up the road behind the Hallgrimskirkja church. It gets super crowded between 8a-8p but during the evening we found plenty of spots.

Couldn't find the thermostat to regulate the temps so cracked the window a bit to cool the place down. I'd suggest having a fan available. Another bedside end table is needed on the left side of the bed. My partner used one of the table chairs to compensate.

Excellent location , easy to walk to restaurants, shops and sights.

Going with a vacation rental instead of a hotel is a bit of a gamble because you can't be sure about the quality of the lodging. In this case is was outstanding. Spacious, centrally located, but quiet. The apartment is well appointed.

My flight leaving was late in the day so I requested a late checkout. Unfortunately, the owner could not accommodate me because they had new guest coming in. One thing I did not consider, was that I had no place to store my luggage while waiting for an appropriate time to go to the airport. We ended up going to the airport very early. I am now warned for the future and will use this to help decide between a hotel or vacation rental.

Really comfy spacious apartment with everything you need to have a great stay. You could not ask for a better location. Communication with the owner was amazing.

The location is perfect, very central. Very clean, warm, and cosy apartment.

Parking nearby is challenging. TV is quite old.
