House in the Castle

Great location, wonderful host and good communication.

Stunning retreat in a beautiful historic monument area, with exceptional and responsive staff. Short walk to cafes / restaurants. Good advice about what to do, easy swimming daily, room could be cooled, exceptionally comfortable bed. We wish we had booked longer. Don't hesitate with the price, you'll have no regrets and have lifetime memories. Also consider it for a winter contemplation retreat, the fire looks fab. You could not get better hosts.

Everything. This is the best hotel!!we couldn’t have asked for anything more. Our hosts are the very best and most thoughtful, wonderful people. The location is magical and we will definitely be back. We were their first wedding and it was perfect. Thank you!

Bel appartement idéalement situé avec beaucoup de charmes. Une belle terrace ou 'on peut se détendre. Belles pierres apparentes. Très silencieux. Avec la meilleure chambre on dort les fenetres ouvertes et on entend la mer.

Les plafonds sont voutés est assez bas. Deuxème chambre sans fenètres La pièce principale petite donc heureusement qu'il y a une terrace

Einmalige Lage, sehr gute persönliche Betreuung durch den Eigentümer, viele Infos bezüglich Ausflüge, Restaurants und zur Unterkunft. gefüllte Früchteschale bei Ankunft, als Abschiedsgeschenk Olivenöl aus eigener Produktion erhalten.

evt ein Sonnendach auf Balkon installieren, Bestellmöglichkeit für Frühstück in Kühlschrank (Brot, Milch, Butter etc.)

Der Blick vom Balkon ist einzigartig und die Vermieter unglaublich freundlich.

La casa más bonita y con la mejor ubicación. Anfitriona inmejorable, Ersi es un encanto y cuidó cada detalle desde que llegamos. Recogida de equipaje, desayuno incluido con café y fruta. Nos ha regalado vino y aceite de oliva local. Ha hecho un pequeño free tour explicando la historia de Monemvasía, qué ver, dónde comer. Su casa es preciosa y tiene la mejor terraza con vistas. Hemos podido ver el amanecer en el silencio de la ciudad desde ella. Volveremos pronto. Gracias infinitas. Xarica poli, Ersi.

House in the Castle is such a unique and beautiful property - it’s like living inside a medieval castle but with all of the modern amenities! There’s nothing like waking up to the beautiful sunrise over the sea and looking out over the gorgeous churches and homes below and around the property!

Those who are old or disabled and have trouble walking on uneven streets may find it challenging to get to and from the property - although the hosts will handle moving luggage to and from the property for you. This was not an issue at all for us and the feeling of living in history and seclusion from the modern world was a big plus!
