The staff and price

The property looked far nicer on photos, terrible kitchenette, dirty and under equipped. Plug sockets hanging off walls, dripping taps and uncomfortable beds.

Everything was brilliant

Stunning building and the restaurant food was superb. Loved the old interior and it was very cosy. Lovely owners, very welcoming. I would definitely stay there again.

Good location, staff helpful and friendly good food and was piping hot . Beds excellent.

I know it’s a pub but someone was still talking loudly at 2am , both bathroom radiators didn’t work. Got hot water to work on second day pure luck was about to complain and I flicked switch and it then started, the noise wasn’t help as I was ill on first night it’s a shame a few things let it down on our visit . Taps have a mind of there own.

Location perfect

Location was in the Shropshire was walk so a good location for us but not much else there

The whole place needs a good clean , the sofa and carpets were absolutely filthy & to be honest one of the beds looked like it had been slept in and we slept in our sleeping bag .. we had to clean the bath before we could use it .. not good at all & the pub doesn’t serve food on a Monday or Tuesday so we had to buy a microwave meal from the garage

Communication was good.

No shower in the main bathroom but not a massive issue.

Overall the place was good, it was clean and comfortable. Lots of space in the rooms and the decor is very cosy. The staff working in the pub were really friendly and helpful and the pub is nice. The location is beautiful and there is a service station next door with cheap fuel and a large selection of snack and drinks.

Downsides were that the soundproofing was not very good and the pub was loud until about 1AM and the kitchen wasn't very well equipped if you are thinking of cooking a meal.
