Lakefront Studio Apartment

Fantastic views and great location - the studio faces directly onto Lake Wakatipu. We were able to rent bikes outside the property, which was convenient and an added bonus to our trip. We would happily stay here again the next time we visit Queenstown.

Lack of TV options

The view was amazing, couldn’t ask for a better view. Very comfortable accommodation with everything you could need. Great shower and comfy bed.

The view from the bedroom/balcony is stunning - overlooking the lake and the mountains. Spotlessly clean, really comfy bed and very nice bathroom and toiletries. Can access the lakeside path. Very nice balcony with BBQ supplied.

The location is between Queenstown and Frankton, there are not many facilities on the doorstep so it would be preferable to have a car for visiting Queenstown a short drive away, though there is a bus stop outside. The apartment is accessed via a steep driveway (tricky to find) and there is a small car parking space outside. The instructions on accessing the property came via a long email which my phone wouldn't download (I think because it had been forwarded so many times), so this could be improved on (eventually sending the details via the booking.com app worked). The kitchenette is tiny, and we were expecting a hob/stovetop as per the details but there isn't one. There is no washing machine in the apartment as per the details, but a launderette nearby. There is no separate living room. The description therefore needs to be made accurate. We didn't use the toaster as the instructions about calling the fire brigade to prevent a fine if the smoke detector went off made us too afraid to do so.

Clean tidy little apartment with under floor heating for your comfort. The views from the apartment are stunning and will never get boring. Good location close to town.

Nowhere to put your clothes. Nowhere to put any food. Provide you with pots and pans for cooking but the apartment doesn’t have a hot plate💁‍♂️.

Clean, warm and the view of the lake was amazing

Lighting needs updating, cutlery provided was basic.
