Luxury Apartment Central Reykjavík

I liked the location, convenient to the bus station. Also the 2 bedrooms were far enough apart for privacy. Generally a comfortable location. There was a washing machine too. Very helpful when doing a lot of travel. Loved the chandelier in the bedroom! The host was very accessible if needed.

There was a distinctive unpleasant odor but the host immediately got someone in to address it. It helped. The kitchen was a little tight, but well equipped. We really didn't use much more than the kettle and toaster. The living area is a little small, but ok.

Amazingly located property. Walkable to everything. Very clean, with comfortable beds and great facilities. All we needed for out stay.

Kann morgens für Frühaufsteher vor 7 bis 8 Uhr manchmal aufgrund Flugverkehr nationaler Flughafen und Straßenlage etwas lauter werden… für uns kein Problem!

The washer/dryer was an issue. Unless you put the setting on for a 30 minute wash it took up to 6 hours to wash and semi dry! It never really did completely dry your clothes.

The apartment is very central, only 5 min walk to the church and very close to a supermarket on the main shopping street in Reykjavík. The apartment was exceptionally clean and well designed with high spec kitchen white goods and all the equipment needed to self cater (which we did a lot as eating out was so expensive!) The code made entry and exit very easy. Access to different tv channels was also great. The beds were very comfortable and it was warm in the apartment. Communication with the owners was excellent.

We thought the sofa could perhaps be a bit more comfortable. The lounge was a little awkward when seating four people. Another shelf in the oven would have been useful.
