John & Katherine are wonderful hosts with great recommendations. The cabin is private with a nice bush outlook and just the right amount of quirk. Would highly recommend to anyone looking to spend the weekend in Matakana

Beautiful bush setting, privacy, everything thoughtfully provided & comfortable, very welcoming hosts, wonderful walks and beach only 15min drive away. Also Matakana etc in the other direction.

Ganz besonders schöne Lage, liebevoll gestaltet, einfach was ganz besonderes.

Die Mücken auf dem Balkon, aber da kann die Unterkunft nichts für.

The hosts were so lovely, and the accommodation was a nice and cosy, private and serene. It was so quiet amongst the bush setting and close to many things to do and see. We had everything we needed there.
