Apartament Enescu

Location is great, apartment a bit old fashioned but with charm and spacious for 4 of us with 5 kids, and our host was very friendly and helpful. All together great trip.

Short summary - the apartment is not inhabitable, infested by cockroaches, dirty rooms, old furniture, inadequate landlord and horrible conditions. Avoid at all costs!!! The apartment is situated in 100+ year old building that was last renovated 50+ years ago. You can tell that by both the facade of the building as well as the stairs in the common room once you go in through the main door, which is a challenge by itself. The apartment itself - the door leading into the apartment is old and gives absolutely no feeling of safety. It would not stop anyone from going in by just using a bit of force. The rooms within the apartment are super spacious, with high ceilings and plenty of beds to accommodate 8+ people. The furniture is old and in bad condition, the bathroom and toilets are far from the cleanliness you would expect for the price asked. The worst thing about this apartment, however, is the fact it's literary infested by cockroaches the size of a walnut. The moment you turn the lights off they swarm out from under every bed, sofa and piece of furniture in every single room. We arrived late in the evening, dropped our luggage and went out to eat without paying too much attention to the minor details. When we came back 1-2 hours later and turned the lights on, there were 5 cockroaches running around in just the first room, couple of more in every other room. After killing as many as we could, leaving their bodies on the "crime scene" as evidence, we called the landlord demanding he comes to the apartment immediately. When he arrived, listened to our complains and saw the numerous proofs of our words, he acted all surprised as it's the first time he ever heard someone complain about it. Only positive thing I can say about the otherwise inadequate landlord is that he agreed to refund our money in cash right away. As a result we had to call local hotels 1 by 1 at 12 AM looking for a new safe place to spend the night.

Apartmant is on a great location, has parking, and it's enormous.

It a little on the older side, but for short stay definitely good value for money.

Very dirty and noisy. There is no private parking as stated in the property description

Excellent location, friendly host, clean and spacious. Recommendation for everyone who comes with their family.
