the futon sofa was a bit hard

No breakfast included but individual portions of cereals were available in the kitchen. Milk was supplied in the fridge. We appreciated the wide selection of provided coffee bags and tea bags. A home-made cake was in a tin awaiting our arrival. Parking was right outside the property - which itself is away from the main road - and the directions provided were very clear and helpful. It is a delightfully quiet location which we very much appreciated. There were loads of DVD films and books available to cater for all tastes although we didn't actually use any of them ourselves.

There was no icebox in the under-counter fridge - I had assumed there would be. The owner offered space in her own freezer next door for an ice pack to be re-frozen. No icebox does however mean no ice cubes for drinks, which is somewhat more problematic in summer weather. The bathroom was well supplied with toiletries but we would have liked a non-slip shower mat to be available.

Quiet location. Well appointed.

Bed too low

Spotless, airy, light, well-appointed place. Lots of touches that we don't find in other bookings such as a tooth brush cup, enough cutlery and plates, for example. Comfy bed, amazing shower! The cake in the tin was delicious!

We didn't stay long enough!

Location was out of the way but super peaceful and conveniently located for surrounding area provided you have a vehicle. Linda had left amazing cakes upon arrival, a really sweet touch!
