No1. Apartments & Bedrooms St Andrews - St Mary’s

I stayed in an ensuite bedroom. It was a good sized bedroom but not an apartment. Although close to the town centre it was quiet. The room had a good sized, comfortable bed and double wardrobe. Also kettle and fridge. Heating was good in the winter, there was also an air conditioning unit for the summer. Really liked the push button shower operation, good for avoiding being soaked by cold water from overhead shower. Everything was clean, modern and in good order. Staff on phone were friendly and helpful. You could only access the rear of the building using security code. Route to entrance was well lit and signposted. There was an attractive patio at rear with seating for the summer weather.

As St Mary's Place is next to town centre parking is metered, short stay every day. At 3pm checkin time parking to drop off is almost impossible. Nearest free parking is 5 minutes walk away at Argyll Street. Some of the entrance doors are identical so make sure you know which one is yours.
