Aelia Apartments

The apartment was really lovely, offering all the facilities we could need plus a really comfortable Bed. We were on top floor which had a balcony area giving sunshine all day. The owner was so friendly and helpful, and we would definitely stay here again when visiting Chania.

Excellent location, Aleksandr is an amazing host Very easy to commute to every famous location of Chania, and AC is perfect in the summer ! We enjoyed as well the terrace !

Can be noisy in the w-e (maybe only for the first floor Appartement)

The location of the apartments is fantastic. Right on the edge of the old town close to some excellent restaurants. The host, Alexandros is very friendly and helpful giving great restaurant recommendations. He provided a lovely welcome pack and extra cake. He also arranged a taxi transfer for 30 euros from the airport. The apartment was very clean and comfortable. It had a pleasant balcony. Everything worked well. It is very quiet, unless the club in the square is open. Luckily it only affected us for 1 night.

Be aware that the ground floor apartment living space is much smaller than the other two apartments, and not like the majority of the photos. You don't know which apartment you are in until you arrive so it may be worth asking to avoid disappointment.

Location was fantastic. The host was so accommodating and helpful. Just what you need when you are in an unfamiliar city. Here is quiet and peaceful, but within walking distance of everything. The homemade cookies were delightful too.

This was our second stay here and it was so lovely to return. Alexander gave us a big welcome and left more treats. During our stay he checked to make sure we were happy with everything. The apartment was very clean and comfortable as last time and had everything needed. Very central location in the Old Town with lots of charming alleyways. We had the top floor apartment and loved the wooden beamed ceiling. We very much hope to return again next year.

location was perfect, apartment is well furnished and roomy. host was kind.

there is no adequate heating in the apartment, only a airconditioner. when temperature in the city is around 10 degrees C (as it was during our stay) it is not enough. obviously insulation is bad and also it is not possible that the heating works when guests are out (due to power security system). so you always come in the frizzing apartment whose warming is too slow. we had to wear coats in the apartment which is not comfortable at all and pretty spoiled our stay in chania. i believe this is not a problem when weather is warmer but unfortunately we had such situation. if we had not had this problem we would rate the apartment 10

Location is perfect, a lot of restaurants and grocery stores around, buses are a few minutes walk. The apartment was so beautiful just like the pictures, clean, and it had everything we needed. Alexander is a wonderful host, he greeted us and told us everything we need to know. Overall a 10/10 stay. :)

Mr Alexander was amazing, very accommodating for any of our requests, and the location was great for all the restaurants/shops around the old town and Venician Port.
