Stoney Hideaway

The property is small but perfect for a visit to to the area. It's right in the centre of town just 5 minute walk to the beach and to some great restaurants - can highly recommend Carron to Mumbai - best Indian food Ive eaten since I worked in India. The property was spotless and warm and the hosts very responsive. Can highly recommend. Though there was no parking there there is a car park literally 10 paces from the property.

The internet connection was a bit spotty at times (had trouble connecting to iPlayer and watching both nights - started off okay but then had a few issues)

Location, style of flat, cosy & comfy for winter break. Close to amenities. Ideal for short stay. Really love the decor.

We have found the wifi a little tricky. This we think has affected tv as it was badly in and out last night. This may be due to bad weather too. Stairs were a surprise, not expecting that. It might be helpful to include that info on booking.

I spent couple of days in Stonehaven for the NY fireball festival. The accommodation is very central, close to all local amenities. It’s a comfortable stay, with a kitchenette, a separate living room and a clean toilet. Marion is a generous host. She has provided me information about the festival and she even tried to book a table for me for NY eve meal! The Scottish people I met in this travel, from Edinburgh to Stonehaven, are helpful, friendly, and very nice. Overall, a pleasant and positive experience. Thank you.
