Stoney Hideaway

Family stay for wedding, blown away with apartment, just perfect and great location! Beautifully decorated with little quirky bits making it cosy and welcoming,

Everything was lovely but the wee extra touches e.g. the books on happiness etc, games, hot water bottle ( my partner loved this), portable heater, well stocked kitchen and bathroom could not be beaten. The info left re foods in cupboard, emergency numbers, and where to visit in the town were great. It literally is a gem. Not sure I want to put in this review it may make it too popular.

Not that it was really needed while we were there but some info on how to work central heating system may be needed in colder weather. Inform visitors that there are two flights of stairs to get to flat. Maybe a little flexibility in checking out time, especially for self catering

Absolutely loved our stay. We travel as a family so we delighted to find a place with two proper bedrooms and a living room. Location is perfect, the flat is clean and very tastefully decorated. I only regret we didn’t have time to stay longer. All of us can highly recommend it!

Great location in the centre of town. Easy parking nearby. Handy for beach or cliff top walks. Short distance to railway station for a 20 minute trip into Aberdeen. Kitchen was smallish, but well laid out and equipped.

Tiny quibble, but we’d have preferred to sit together at a table for meals, rather than use the small tables provided.

It was gorgeous so many wee touches which really made it special

Every attention to detail was evident in furnishings, decor and comfort. Fully equipped kitchen for self catering if desired. Location ideal. Access to Centre of Stonehaven ideal for Saturday market in the square 2mins walk from bus stop. Central for boardwalk at the beach. Flat had plenty of hanging space for clothes, shower room to a very high standard.

2 flights of stairs were fine for us but for those with mobility issues would probably not suit. Heat pump noise at the back could create an issue for sleeping however didn't give us a problem.

The property was exceptional,the location was great close to everything you needed.I would recommend the walk from Stonehaven to Dunnotter Castle the scenery and castle were stunning.

There was nothing I didn't like.I couldn't fault anything.the property was out of this world,BRILLIANT
