"Walking holiday"

- Excellent host, very responsive and helpful - Lovely property, everything you need - Spacious and homely - Nice garden area - Nice quiet location, but can walk to town in 15 mins for pubs, restuarants, etc - Close to Keswick and other walking spots

Nothing not to like really, drains are a bit slow in draining but not a problem! Would highly recommend and would stay again 100%

"Perfect cottage for walking Wainwrights"

A great location to walk the Western fells. The swing was great to relax on. A well equipped kitchen and a lovely deep bath to relax in. The cottage was lovely and warm with comfortable beds. A responsive friendly host.

"Great place"

Everything was clean and well presented and well appointed. Bed was fantastic, loads of hot water, great shower, everything you needed. Great comms with owner who was very helpful.

Only small gripe (and is small) was WiFi and phone signal wasn’t very strong. Different phone providers may have better signal though

"Good base for just a few days away"

Easy access location to Cockermouth and the A66. Quiet and safe enclosed garden for dogs.

Nothing wrong but felt a bit odd being half of a bungalow with the owner living the other side of the internal adjoining door. Reminded us of being at home with the parents in the next room. The main bedroom had a faint damp / mildew smell.
